With today's Git (wine-1.1.7-221-gcefa1e8), when attempting to install DAZStudio with DAZStudio_2_1_1_13_win.exe, the installer erroneously attempts to create a directory at path Z:\DAZ, even though the application install directory is set to C:\Program Files\DAZ\Studio.
That is actually an annoying "feature" of DAZ3D's Bitrock installer. For some strange reason DAZ3D feel it essential that the installer creates a scratch directory at the root of whatever drive (or virtual drive in the case of Wine) the installer is located on. Their older installers did not do this. I filed a bug report with DAZ3D about this behaviour, as it is annnoying whatever OS you are running the installer under, but they closed the report as won't fix. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
