Bug can be reproduced with the demo: Gstreamer does not recognize the cinepak codec
Well, GStreamer recognizes it, but yes, we don't, and that causes problems. That makes this a regression. The game, curiously, manually creates the AVI splitter and then autoplugs that to its own sink. These hacks stop it from crashing, but the video looks like a black screen with some noise at the bottom, which probably isn't right. The fact that the game messes up my X11 color palette doesn't help a whole lot, though.
