[Bug 12453] Bad performance in Source based games

confirm noticeable fps boast, almost double. Can actually up graphics now,
didn't check. Although now for some reason the intro movies were slightly
pixelated and laggy. 

Has anyone checked for performance boosts in other source games? I currently
don't have any others to test.
