Odd - Louis just updated the howto in the appdb http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3754 and removed the workaround
yeah, more then a week ago and earlier i noticed an annoying slow down ( had to wait 10 secs or so) for a .net app to start. In current git, it just starts immediately, and so i thought remove unneeded patches.
