WINEDEBUG=-all,+timestamp,+pid,+tid,+loaddll,+x11drv,+win,+vulkan Fwiw I'm not reproducing the problem locally, but I think it could be an invalid assumption I made that mismatched client rect would cause the render thread to re-create its surface and sync its size: we only return VK_SUBOPTIMAL which may not trigger such recreation.
