Zebediah btw, about the new title you set for this, I'm not so sure it's right.
Probably that component (mfreadwrite.dll) is needed if you have native
mfplat.dll already installed.

I think with just regular wine the problem is probably some unimplemented
function in mfplat.dll that makes the game crash.
