http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22494 Jonathan Quist <jeq(a)NUalumni.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |jeq(a)NUalumni.com --- Comment #7 from Jonathan Quist <jeq(a)NUalumni.com> 2011-03-14 20:41:34 CDT --- I have just encountered the same issue, attempting to install Office 2007 Enterprise under Fedora 14, 64-bit, and Wine 1.3.14-2, 64-bit. So yes, I believe this is still an issue. After false starts using the install procedure documented elsewhere, I used the procedure for Office 2007 Installer from the AppDB. The install completed, but user-specific setup did not complete, ultimately ending in a truncated error message regarding Building Blocks.dotx. I completely uninstalled Wine, and re-installed the 32-bit version. The Office install completed (mine was stripped down to Word only, and no .Net support), and on running Word I have reached the software activation screen. (There it's failing Internet activation; I may simply activate by phone and skip the troubleshooting steps...) So, if you don't have a need for 64-bit Windows apps, I'd suggest trying the 32-bit approach. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
