[Bug 41351] Rollercoaster Tycoon 2: crashes in the middle of gameplay

Hey sorry for the delay, I've been coming back to it whenever I have the spare
time to try and figure out the problem. 

Basically this is the road block that I'm running into:

I can get the game to install and run to the main menu absolutely fine. 
19 times out of 20 though the game will freeze when I select a menu option and
say. 

"error: access violation
cannot find windows sound driver"

To tell you the truth I don't know what that means.
