The cursor is not done through the cursor API, but is a 3D object. So what happens: -Begin draw- The scene gets rendered The cursor gets rendered The scene gets rendered again -End draw- According to the comment in transform_world(a)wined3d/state.c this behaviour is known and sort of wanted.
