What does this command show when you run it in Wine source directory, after you configured Wine? grep OPENAL include/config.h
called from /var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/wine-1.3.37/work/wine64
#define HAVE_OPENAL 1 /* #undef HAVE_OPENAL_AL_H */ #define SONAME_LIBOPENAL "libopenal.so.1"
called from /var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/wine-1.3.37/work/wine32
#define HAVE_OPENAL 1 /* #undef HAVE_OPENAL_AL_H */ #define SONAME_LIBOPENAL "libopenal.so.1"
Perhaps you're missing a 32-bit openal? No, there is a 32 and 64 bit version of the library. Here a listing of what is installed:
# find lib* -name "libopenal.so*" | xargs -- dir -l lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Oct 22 17:13 lib32/libopenal.so -> libopenal.so.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Oct 22 17:13 lib32/libopenal.so.1 -> libopenal.so.1.11.753 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 186680 Sep 28 14:07 lib32/libopenal.so.1.11.753 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 Mar 26 2011 lib64/libopenal.so -> libopenal.so.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Mar 26 2011 lib64/libopenal.so.1 -> libopenal.so.1.13.0 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 294048 Mar 26 2011 lib64/libopenal.so.1.13.0 The versions are different for whatever reason. I don't think this should be a problem though unless Wine expects a specific openal version. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
