Just upgrading to the latest SVN (and rebooting clean) did not make any difference. Here in just a few weeks will be the Kubuntu 9.10 RC1 release. I was already planning on re-installing the entire system clean at that time to test the installer, so I'll re-test Wine/CSS again after that.
