http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35357 Bug ID: 35357 Summary: mouse behaving weirdly in EVE Online if synergy is running as of commit 76bbf106a28c4caa Product: Wine Version: 1.7.10 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: winex11.drv Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: hans(a)nieser.nl Classification: Unclassified I have two machines that I control with a single mouse/keyboard using Synergy. On the host machine (that has the mouse/keyboard connected to it with a Synergy server active) I experience a weird mouse issue when running EVE Online under Wine as of version 1.5.29 and higher. Note that I don't control EVE remotely using Synergy, the keyboard/mouse are physically connected to the machine on which I am running EVE. I don't get this issue if I simply shutdown Synergy. The weird mouse behaviour is a bit hard to describe, but basically it seems as though EVE does not see all the mouse events immediately, the mouse events lag behind until I click my mouse button or move my mouse around a bit. The visual/hardware mouse cursor behaves fine though. Since this was working fine with 1.5.28, I git bisected this and narrowed it down to commit 76bbf106a28c4caa ( https://github.com/mirrors/wine/commit/76bbf106a28c4caa ). Although I don't really understand what this change does, reverting it on current git master does solve this problem for me -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
