I don't believe you're completely correct; I can't speak for all mac users, but I am able to run the Spore Creature Creator trial with no problems on my MacBook Air. I am aware that Spore on Mac is unsupported on some video cards, but that there is a workaround (see tuaw's June 17th article)
Sorry, you are correct. That article is what I saw a few nights ago and just typed before I thought. So we are affected by a bug that is only affected in unsupported video card in Cider?
