I'm not sure why, since no other video plugin (including the previous Glide release) did this, but it at least loads correctly now. However, there are new problems. Using the stable Glide WX release, hi-res textures fail to load fully. While watching the plugin load the textures, I can see that only a bit more than half the textures are properly loaded, and the texture compression is not functioning right. The plugin also crashes occasionally.
