The Python module for WMI allows you to create a WMI object for classes. However in Wine calling the Win32_VideoController class results in the following error: wmi.x_wmi: <x_wmi: Unexpected COM Error (-2147352567, 'DISP_E_EXCEPTION', (0, None, None, None, 0, -2147467263 ), None)> Steps to reproduce are: 1. Install Python (`wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.4/python-3.10.4-amd64.exe" && wine python-3.10.4-amd64.exe`) 2. Install the WMI module (`wine python -m pip install WMI`) 3. Launch Python in wine (`wine python`) 3. Import the module (`import wmi`) 4.
