I've identified the broken commit as being
7494328896f3c5a4e3020fac368ae4a74d470dbf, making the broken component
winealsa.drv.
I've also noticed that starting from 1fa0d491a87f5c7d9f600ea95ee2bfc37ca6f940,
the VST running under SAVIHost takes a long time to close, and both it and
wineserver uses a lot of the CPU while doing so.
