Disabling GLSL made no difference. Only improvement I did find was lowering the Audio Quality in Portal 2. The Sound still stuttered when a new Sound Effect was played, but no where near as bad as when High Quality Audio was selected. I was able to get a decent frame rate with the Resolution at 1920x1080, all Effects and Texture settings turned up to High, and Anti-Aliasing at 4x. Pushing the Texture settings further to Very High and Anti-Aliasing to 8x slowed frame rate slightly and resulted in increased lag with the Sound.
