an interesting observation:

start rhythmbox, play a song -> rosetta can't find an output device and won't
start

stop rhythmbox (but don't quit it) -> sound output in rosetta works again

a pulseaudio issue?

p.s this bug is definitely CONFIRMED. please mark it so.
