Whenever I run wineconsole on my gentoo machine, I get a console with no text.
Terminal shows:
err:wineconsole:WCUSER_SetFont wrong font
err:wineconsole:WCUSER_SetFont wrong font

if I install corefonts, it works fine.

I have fontconfig and liberation fonts installed:
austin(a)aw25 ~ $ qlist -Iv fontconfig liberation
app-admin/eselect-fontconfig-1.1

media-libs/fontconfig-2.11.1-r1
