I have installed IE6 (ies4linux) Do do this. We do not support such configurations. Remove your ~/.wine directory, then reinstall your program. You will have to install wine-gecko when prompted (or run 'iexplore htpp://' and click install. Also you might need to add IE's version into registry see http://wiki.winehq.org/UsefulRegistryKeys
