[Bug 29380] sonic Generations: The detected configuration does not match your current hardware

Creating the directory 
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "C:\users\<username>\My
Documents\My Games" fixed the problem.
It allowed the configuration editor to save all the settings
