Potentially. Try (backing up, then) deleting that key on windows and see if VideoSelector.exe will recreate the key.
I've deleted both 'options' and 'WizardIcon' keys on Windows Vista. VideoSelector.exe doesn't recreate them, and it doesn't report their absence.
I've attatched +reg,+reley for the installer.
There's no evidence this is a registry bug.
