I try to compile on Debian Lenny. When I compile without your patches everything goes fine.
What I do is: 1) apply your patches 2) autoreconf 3) ./configure --disable-tests 4) make

Weird, on my Ubuntu went all ok.... and my patch doesn't touch that part of wine. Can't help, sorry....
