[Bug 31113] Civilization V crashes after specific amount of game turns

I disabled the Stam overlay about a year ago and the game has not crashed once
in all that time.

Solution

Gointo your Steam liabray and right click on Civilization 5
Select options
On the main tab -should come up by default-
deselect the use overlay check box
click ok

click on the play button and enjoy.
Problem solved.

Now we just need the wine devs to fix the wine compatablitie with the Steam
overlay as this fix works for every single game I have played via wine.
