in wine 1.1.9 with a fresh .wine directory, attempting to install Acrobat Pro 6
gives the msgbox error:

Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional requires Internet Explorer 5.1 or greater.
Please visit www.microsoft.com to upgrade Internet Explorer.

So... since I am unable to install Acrobat Pro 6.0, the answer to your question
is: I don't know.
