I have re-attached it. The backtrace was automatically generated after typing winecfg in a console. The way I used to install Wine is the ./tools/wineinstall script. I did a ./configure --prefix=/usr --verbose. These warnings appeared at the end: ------ configure: libhal development files not found. Wine will be built without dynamic device support. (explorer.exe) configure: libsane development files not found. Wine will be built without scanner support. (sane.ds/twain_32.dll) configure: libgphoto2 development files not found. Wine will be built without Digital Camera support. (gphoto2.ds/twain_32.dll) configure: libicu development files not found. Wine will be built without bidi (Right to Left) support. (gdi32.dll) configure: libldap (OpenLDAP) development files not found. Wine will be built without LDAP support. (wldap32.dll) configure: libcapi20 development files not found. Wine will be built without ISDN support. (capi2032.dll) configure: fontconfig development files not found. Wine will be built without fontconfig support. configure: WARNING: FontForge is missing. Fonts will not be built. Dialog text may be invisible or unaligned. -------- I have also attached config.log. Could FontForge absence be the reason Wine keeps crashing? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
