Hello folks,

runs ok here 1280 x 1024 fullscreen, medium render quality: 18-20 FPS,
mid-range i5 PC, NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M.

It's definitely not 'extremely' slow.

Use 'Alt + F' to show FPS.
This will also toggle mouse mode, press 'Alt' again to toggle off mouse mode.

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.21
