[Bug 30180] New: winecfg hangs on drive actions
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30180 Bug #: 30180 Summary: winecfg hangs on drive actions Product: Wine Version: 1.4 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: sworddragon2(a)aol.com Classification: Unclassified If I'm opening winecfg and going to the Drives register winecfg has some problems if there is for example a burning process on a drive which is listed there. In this case I don't get a list of drives and winecfg is hanging until the related drive gets unlocked. Maybe the drive list could be something like a sandbox so if winecfg can't access a drive it is still possible to go through the menu and make some actions/close winecfg. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30180 --- Comment #1 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> 2012-03-16 16:37:31 CDT --- Wine uses UDisks/hal for disk detection, I haven't checked the code but it may be a bug in udisks that it hangs when an optical drive is in use like that (or wine may be calling the wrong api). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
