The problem is that EADM (provided with The Sims 3) fails do download any patch. 1)start EADM 2)go to patches tab 3)pick one game and unfold its tree 4)select patch Here patch should be downloaded instead nothing happens. 1. You're overriding a lot of native dlls. What happens without them? Tray icon shows. I do RMB on it and choose open but after that nothing happens.
2. Did you try native wininet? I cannot reproduce that because new version of EADM doesn't give possibility to download patch. At least not when you're not logged in.
I added URL for EADM. She says that this is resolved by going to the official site and downloading the updated client. Haven't tested this again but since EADM is obsolete (because it was succeeded by EA Origin to which it updates in Windows) can somebody who is able to close this bug?
