I should have mentioned: runnning starwar5.exe successfully will at least show that your system can run a trivial vb6 app.
Is your vb6 app available for download?

Since this was considered a "critical issue" and OP refused to provide detailed technical info, I guess two years after it's either solved or moot anyway. If your app/work is that "mission critical" you should consider using a different software solution or hire competent guy(s) to get things sorted out. Bugzilla is largely a voluntary effort with people sparing their _free_ time to help. You can of course request "immediate support" but you should never confuse that with commercial (paying) end-user support.
