When I run the Silkroad Online game installer software : - The installer displays a grey rectangle displays "Please wait..." - A pop-up appear, displaying the message "Temp folder error" - When the pop-up is closed, the installer's execution is stopped. I'm unable to get farther. I've installed Wine-1.0rc4 from the following package : http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/ubuntu/hardy/wine_1.0~rc4~winehq0~ub... while using Debian Lenny x86-64. My computer specs are : Dell Vostro 1700 Graphic card : nVidia Corporation GeForce 8600M GT RAM : 4GB DDR2 Sound : HDA intel Tried with a fresh .wine and with my old .wine. Same problem. Tried with Windows 98 and Windows XP versions. Same problem. I'll attach the +file, +shell and +relay bzip'ed logs. Tried with a fresh .wine and with my old .wine. Same problem. How "fresh"? Have you removed that directory completely? Wine has "tmp" environment variable defined yet from your log:

Please remove ~/.wine directory and directly run installer.
