Please note that this is NOT Corel Draw X3. I installed in a clean wineprefix and set winecfg to Windows 3.1 (which is recommended on the CD). Unfortunately the installer (setup.exe) doesn't start up and gives a fatal error. The backtrace might give some clues as to what goes wrong. Can you also confirm this?
