Pokemon TCGO version 2.XX.X used to work perfectly. In December 2014, after an auto-update to version 2.25.0.1042 it started to crash at startup.
Has anyone been able to make it work?

How about providing more information? Just stating "it crashes" is not very useful. You have to be specific, that is providing terminal output, backtrace information etc., preferably with most recent Wine version. I don't think this is unreasonable to ask for. http://wiki.winehq.org/Bugs Also the client versions available for download are contradicting your information about 4.x @super_man: As already said elsewhere: if you reference bug ids please use the proper format to have Bugzilla autolinkification feature work.
