Strangely I cannot see any any call to that mgame3d dll before this crash, the crash just comes out of nowhere. I guess it must have been commit http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2008-April/043077.html that fixed it.
and it crashes my X server or kernel and my machine hardlocks that must be a problem with your graphics card/driver i guess. I too had this problem with my old ati-card, now i use nvidia and never ran into this problem .
