Unfortunately such scenarios are not supported here - regardless if they worked before. You have to prove your point with a clean (new!) WINEPREFIX + proper app installation and no hacks. No recycle/upgrade of old prefixes! There is an unrelated crash in the QQ Protect driver, but that's not the main app. $ sha1sum TIM2.1.5.exe 1bf1b558fcc32acf494cdf71694e9fede83e23ad TIM2.1.5.exe $ du -sh TIM2.1.5.exe 67M TIM2.1.5.exe $ wine --version wine-3.8-128-g8e9ea7a8a1 Regards -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45230 --- Comment #4 from Anastasius Focht <focht(a)gmx.net> --- Hello folks, the QQProtect driver crash I mentioned before is covered by bug 41039 (just to avoid that someone creates a dupe). https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45230 --- Comment #5 from Fabian Maurer <dark.shadow4(a)web.de> --- I can reproduce the crash with the linked executable in a fresh WINEPREFIX and wine 3.8. However, it seems to have something to do with the Arch Linux package, it works just fine when I compile from source. I have no idea how to regression test that though. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45230 --- Comment #6 from Anastasius Focht <focht(a)gmx.net> --- Hello,
However, it seems to have something to do with the Arch Linux package,
well, if that package is known to be broken, I would suggest to temporarily remove/blacklist it. There seem to be other recent Wine bug reports targeting Wine 3.8 + ArchLinux which can't be reproduced on other distros.
