Attached is an example error log when running winecfg. My environment is macOS 12.2 on an M1 MacBook Air (Late 2020) running x86-64 wine64 through Rosetta 2 (to run on arm64). Most notably, the line "0040:err:system:update_display_cache failed to read display config" is spammed in console, and I do not recall seeing that in prior versions. The app appears in the Dock, but a window does not visually appear at all. no longer works What does this mean? It can mean anything.
The build for the 7.7 version is located here https://github.com/Gcenx/macOS_Wine_builds/releases/tag/7.7. This is a patched version of Wine. You need to retry in vanilla Wine.
