[Bug 48922] New: Ambiguous hint in login field
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48922 Bug ID: 48922 Summary: Ambiguous hint in login field Product: WineHQ Bugzilla Version: unspecified Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: bugzilla-unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: hi-angel(a)yandex.ru CC: austinenglish(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- While trying to login, the hint inside input field asks one to enter "login". Login is an ambiguous entity, it can be nickname, phone number, email, a bunch of things. I associate it mostly with a nickname, but entering a nickname in place of login doesn't work, because the site requires email instead. It would be nice if the text field have been explicit about it. # Steps to reproduce 1. Go to https://bugs.winehq.org/ 2. Look at the login fields, i.e. those where one should type login and password ## Expected The field where email have to be entered should say "email" ## Actual The field for email says "login" -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48922 --- Comment #1 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> --- This seems to be configurable via mini_login_constants.login, not sure if it's worth it. I think it only ever asks you for email when registering. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
