I totally agree.  I should have been more explicit in my post.  I only needed to
have the software running for now.  This was a temporary stopgap.  I realize as
soon as the Ubuntu repos go to 0.9.35, it will break.  I had opened a bug report
with Ubuntu as well and was told to stick to their repositories to avoid
trouble.  I need to tell them that when they do update wine, that it has to be
to whatever version has the fix in it, or there will be problems.
