The radix page is displayed. Click menu item View, Aspectarium, or F3 and the program crashes. Same for F4 - F7. Problem occurs whether or not I set up a 32-bit environment by adding WINEARCH=win32 in /etc/environment running in linuxmint 15 cinnamon 64-bit,or in kubuntu 13.10 64-bit. With Wine 1.7.8 there is no crash but the 'aspectarium' view doesn't diplay anything (remains white). Adjusting summary. You can work around with 'winetricks -q ie7' which makes the 'aspectarium' view correctly appear. This bug is fixed. Isn't the policy of wine bugzilla to report one bug by report? An other bug report should have been opened for the problem of white background. I tested the app immediately after the bug report was opened. See my comment #1 End users feel offended if the ticket is immediately closed with the actual problem "app/feature xxx doesn't work" still present. They don't distinguish/separate different root causes - for them nothing has been fixed. In cases where even an upgrade of Wine version doesn't solve the problem and no duplicate has been found, the ticket is reused. It would have been different if the bug (crash) was reproducible from start with whatever Wine version was latest at that time. The bug summary "aspectarium view doesn't work" is not wrong. Generally speaking, even white background/empty view means "no functionality" = doesn't work. But well, I'll refine it now if that makes you happy.
