A workaround is to re-install everything in a new prefix. A quick warn+file log shows the following: 0340:warn:file:NtQueryAttributesFile L"\\??\\C:\\users\\stefan\\AppData\\Local" not found (c0000034) 0340:trace:seh:dispatch_exception code=c0000005 flags=0 addr=00000001803DD71C ip=00000001803DD71C tid=0340 Manually creating the folder fixes the bug.
