(or via winetricks) $ wine control '.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/Speech/sapi.cpl' brings up the Speech Properties control panel. ("riched20: Handle efficiently caret creation/destruction."), part of Wine 4.6 release. Thanks Sergio NOTE: There is still a crash with builtin RichEdit control when clicking 'Preview Voice'.
