In response to query, I'm using the most recently available version of Wine (installed last week), to be used with Mailwasher (various versions failed, as did Thunderbird (recent version), which was unstable and crashed repeatedly. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32953 --- Comment #3 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> 2013-02-12 18:44:49 CST --- That's a device driver. Does the application fail in any way? It may have come from some other application, try MailWasher in a clean WINEPREFIX. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

MailWasher works Thunderbird crashes Goldwave 5.86 crashes
The crashes continue with fresh prefixes (i.e., new installations with Wine).
Are those each in their own prefix? The thunderbird/goldwave crashes would be separate bugs, but if the problem is that driver, it's not a bug.. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I don't know what to say. My understanding of "prefixes" is that they are names I assign for each software "wrapped" in a "wineskin". Each software has its own. This is getting to be too much of a learning curve, reading the user manual. I've tried numerous versions of Wine, including "Crossover", and numerous versions of the Windows software. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
