Since Version 1.1.27 I cannot read the font in Tales of Monkey Island (Chapter 1: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal and Chapter 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay). See attachement. It works with 1.1.26 (though I didn't do a regression test, because I have some problems in building wine. I'll try it later). I have this same problem. Based on the commit notes should we expect that this will continue to be an issue for anyone with an ATI card from here on out? I just want to know so that I bottle up Tales of Monkey Island installs instead of keeping all of my apps on 1.1.26

Hi, i can not confirm such a problem. I'm using nvidia 185.18.36. Tested versions: * wine-1.1.26 * wine-1.1.28 * wine-1.1.29 * wine-1.1.30 All the above mentioned versions don't have any problem with displaying initial menu or in-game subtitles. PS: based on comment #1 - should not be the version set to 1.1.27? I am using the free X.org ATI driver (xserver-xorg-video-ati), not the fglrx driver.
