Ok so maybe the DLL doesn't self-register. Do you still get the "Cannot start ms
outlook" error? If so, that needs to be debugged, do you get any fixme's before
that?

Maybe you can also try:
* The Windows version of Evolution on wine
(http://shellter.sourceforge.net/evolution/)
* Somehow forcing Novell to fix the Evolution bug (eg. buying SLED and using
your support contract)
