[Bug 7893] cubloc locks up when you choose 'run'

For me in 1.2-rc3, same as in comment #1. I tried this on a windows xp VM, with
no serial port configured, and got the same error, so wine is matching windows
there.

Dan/Niko, can you see if this still locks up for you, and if not, please close.
