[Bug 6791] Compiling wine on amd x86_64 for RHEL 4 or centos 4

On mikes suggestion i attached the output of config.log.

checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking for gcc... gcc -m32
checking for C compiler default output file name...
configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.

This is what I did:
export CC="gcc -m32"
#./configure --x-libraries=/usr/X11R6/lib --x-includes=/usr/X11R6/include --with-x
./configure
