same program? Does the demo have the problem?
I downloaded derive6-demo-english from the site that you provided, installed it on windows XP, downloaded derive6-update6_10-english, and when I ran this update program I got the error The file c:\deriveUpdate\Derive 6 Trial Edition\Derive6.exe is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded.
