Since it only happens in wine, lets keep this around. It works with older Wine version?
Yes, it did It was configured to use Java 1.6 before, and just got a black window after updating Wine no 6.15 At least, it works in Java 1.8 tho Sometimes the window goes black, but it returns normal by passing the mouse on it. Resizing the window also gives this minor glitch too, and crash sometimes. I think that might be related to this bug ¿Should i attach the crash report? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51628 --- Comment #11 from Josesk Volpe <joseskvolpe(a)gmail.com> --- I just tested it on Wine 6.19 on a much cleaner wineprefix. The only patch i had it from winetricks is gmdls. It's much more stable now, no black window neither crashes, only a minor flickering on the emulator when multiple windows of the same application are open. I tried on both JDK 1.6 and JDK 1.8, bot are working very fine. I'm not sure if that's fixed from Wine updates or if that was a issue on the older wineprefix i was trying it on. Well, sorry for these confusing bug reports, althought i used Linux much before, i was very new on Wine because i just made Manjaro Linux my default system lol I now got it how should i use Wine and when, and how, report bugs to it, and to try these applications on a clean wineprefix first :3 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51628 --- Comment #12 from Josesk Volpe <joseskvolpe(a)gmail.com> --- I installed it again now using Wine 6.16 and Java 8u5 I didn't had issues with black window at first and it played normally, but with the same flickering issue However, i faced a occasional minor issue with the preferences window turning black after some small time, wich could be solved by resizing it, this didn't occurred on Wine 6.19 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51628 --- Comment #13 from Josesk Volpe <joseskvolpe(a)gmail.com> --- I tried it again in Wine 6.20 i had recently upgraded, in a prolonged time. I had no issue with windows opening or turning in black i had in Wine 6.16. So yeah, i can confirme that was fixed. :3 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
