To Test it, install MDAC 2.8 (winetrick: mdac 2.8) Control Panel->Data Sources(ODBC)->SystemDSN->Add->SQL Server Configure a Server without SSL: Everything's fine. Configure a Server with SSL: Connection fails (See attachment). I cross-checked this with a Windows 2k VM. Installing MDAC_TYP.EXE.
