Total crash of what? Need more information. What video card? What distro? Where you setting that acpi option? Not major.
Sorry, i'm new here. When the crash occurs, i can't do nothing with my computer. It's freeze! I can use it if I press in the reset or halt button to restart it. I'm a Debian Lenny user (Kernel 2.6.24-1-686) and I have a Ati Radeon X700 card.
